Voyage to Shelter Cove, our newest children's book, tells a story of how four sea creatures find themselves homeless after the destruction of their coral reef. In real life, over one million children are homeless in America today. Children are the largest growing segment of the homeless population. Unfortunately, many homeless children remain behind academically and socially due to the various obstacles related to homelessness.

Homes for the Homeless invites you to contact our office for a complimentary reading and classroom discussion of Voyage to Shelter Cove. Our children's books are targeted toward second to fourth grade levels and used to help educators raise awareness about the issue of homelessness in their communities. If you or someone you know would be interested in signing up for a reading within the New York area, please contact Christy Forshey at [email protected].
